Synopsis: A
super secret drinking contest in Germany has a group of Americans all
riled up and ready for some beer drinking action.
My Thoughts:
This film is a total guy flick, so no ladies need apply. This film is full
of beer drinking foul mouths and the good ole' American fighting
spirit.
Scorecard
Acting-
The acting in this movie was really bad. There was a lot of over acting
and a lot of under acting, for some reason this group of actors really
couldn't find their niche in acting just perfectly. (0)
Direction-
This movie has surprisingly good direction. The film flowed very well, and
followed the story line straight to the end with little or no side
tracking. Very well done. (1)
Story-
American brothers lose their Grandfather (probably to liver disease) and
they learn of a secret beer drinking contest in Germany while taking their
Grandfather's ashes to his final resting place. Then all hell breaks
loose. This story was written by the Broken Lizard group that also gave
you Super Troopers. While this story wasn't as good as Super Troopers, it
was good enough to keep people interested in the film. (1/2)
Expectations- I was really expecting nothing but crap from
this film. I was surprised. It had good laughs, a pretty good story line,
and was pretty fun overall to watch. (1)
Boring?-
There were some moments that had you scratching your head and rolling your
eyes, and those parts kind of took away from the flow of the movie. But
there weren't a whole lot of times that there were boring parts, but the
parts that were kind of dull really hurt the overall feel of the movie. (1/2)
Final
Score: 3

Final Thoughts: Holy
Freakin' Crap! This movie got a three star!!?? I am telling you people
right now, this is a total guy flick so ladies, you will HATE this movie.
Guys, I am NOT telling you to go see this, that is unless you have really
nothing better to do and want to kill and hour and a half, seriously, I
think that most guys would actually enjoy this movie. Odd, isn't it?
