My Thoughts:

pretty good.
Scorecard
Acting-
Many say that Sean Connery is the BEST James Bond (it's arguable) but in
his first run as the great Double 0 agent he does an awesome job! He was
very exciting and very charming, exactly what James Bond should be. (1)
Direction-
The direction of this movie was a little off as it bounced around a little
and it took away from the movies flow. I wasn't really impressed with the
overall direction from this movie at all. (0)
Story- Doctor Julius No is a reclusive mad scientist from
SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge
and Extortion) is trying to get revenge on the western world by using his
brilliance to take over rockets and use them against the western world.
James Bond is dispatched to try and stop him. This story was very well
written and everything just went right for this story. (1)
Expectations-
This is the first Bond movie, every other movie after this
one is going to be based on this one. While this movie MET expectations,
it did not surpass those expectations. (1/2)
Boring?-
This is James Freakin' Bond...it is very hard to make him boring. Yes,
there was down time in this film, and yes a few parts that dragged a
little bit, but the overall movie was not boring in the least. (1)
Final Score:
3 1/2 out of 5
Final Thoughts:
This movie was very fun to watch. If you are a fan of action movies with
cool gadgets and hot babes, James Bond is your man. Yes there have been
bad Bond movies, but this is the first one, and it was great! There
have been better Bond movies too, but this is the first one. See
it.
