Nine Lives
Starring: Paris Hilton Directed by: Andrew Green and Andrew Getty Rated R Genre: Horror Synopsis: 9 friends go to an old mansion to throw a birthday party, but soon, one by one, they begin disappearing. My Thoughts: Just look at who the star of this movie is, and ask yourself...do you really think this is going to be good? Scorecard: Acting- While the acting wasn't as atrocious as you may expect, it was still very bad. But do you really honestly think that you are going to get academy award winning acting in a horror movie, let alone from Paris "freakin" Hilton? (0) Direction- It actually took some digging to find out who directed this movie, I found two names, and to be honest, I really don't think that either of these guys are proud of this movie. (0) Story- Wild kids go to a scary place. Weird things start to happen. Who hasn't seen this before? There are lots of movie with the same story that are a hundred times better. (0) Expectations- Silly me, I was actually expecting something decent from this movie. Boy was I in for a treat. The acting was so bad, it had me longing for Young van Helsing, which is saying something. (0) Boring?- This my friends is the only saving grace for this movie. It wasn't totally boring. I have to admit, there were some parts that had my hoping this movie wasn't going to totally suck. (1/2) Final Score: 1/2 out of 5 Final Thoughts: It's a Paris Hilton movie...what more is there to say? She is a terrible actress, and she stick to whoring herself out and getting drunk with her crazy friends. Stay the hell away from the silver screen. Stay far away from this movie if you see it in your local video store. If you want to see something with Paris Hilton, go see House of Wax, at least she dies in it in a very cool way.
